Whilst walking the Cornwall coast path today (Rock to Port Isaac) I passed Gilson's Cove Mine where there are two open shafts. Has anyone dropped them?

Very interesting area. The seaward of the two holes isn't any good to penetrate but the inland one is deep and moist. It "pops" out into a sea cave below. It's a walk in at a spring low tide but involves a cheeky scramble. Happy holing

Summin like that. I there's a few words in it in the mineral magazine.

Pb in NS cross courses and Sb in EW lodes?
