Does`nt someone on here work for Wolf Minerals?

Don`t seem to be having much luck down there.

Behind on the news though, there appear to be signs that things -might- possibly be heading in the right direction (finally!)

Heard that the price of material has risen,that`s a good sign,but apparently,maybe you might be able to confirm or not,that the set up to separate the various minerals from the mined ore,is just not working as it was supposed to be,and around 40%of minerals are going to the waste tip.

And the companies annual return looks dire with a £40 million loss,this info has come from a mining finance consultant.

I understand that the fundamental issue has been variability in the ore types being milled not grade. The issue principally involves the amount of clay minerals, iron oxides, arsenopyrite and grain size of the cassiterite and ferberite (wolframite). This led to an imbalance between the DMS circuit and the gravity plant resulting in low recoveries. I hear that by campaigning the different ore types thru the mill the issue is largely resolved. Additionally partial oxidation of some of the ferberite reduces the density which was also an issue with the weathered ore. Seems that the problems are now sorted.

Yes and no, the mill is designed to run 'steady state', you dont want the feed changing drasticly week to week. I dont know what the latest position is but before I left the blending from stockpiles was being improved and additional magnetic separation circuits were being included. Realistically they should be heading out of the weathered zone by now.
