Looks like their might be something happening at Redmoor. An exploration manager, Brett Grist, has been appointed and a programme of drilling is scheduled for this year.

Public meeting re Redmoor drilling proposals tonight at Callington Town Hall at 1900hrs.

Interesting meeting. Looks like core drilling will start next month. Two rigs putting in 23 holes sampling the Redmoor lodes at depths of between 200 and 450 metres ish.

Public reactions were fairly predictable, concerned citizens worrying about the impact on house prices, insurance etc, plus the odd yoghurt weaver objecting to mining in general. That said the feeling of the meeting seemed to be far from hostile.
