It was back in the 1990's when I first went down it stuey before they capped it !

The adit level goes quite a distance both east and west. Some interesting stoping to the west that we got into before concerns about condition of ground and timberwork drove us out, by then we were into West Wheal Peevor !

Might have a survey someplace ...
If it can't be grown it has to be mined.

No fun at all. Take note of the bit in the link re work methods about not using pressure washers.
Not likely in a mine environment I know but it happened to me cleaning a particularly pigeon pooed on patio.
Three courses of antibiotics later......

Mine walls come up lovely when pressure washed! Especially slate. Years of mine-ming washed away to leave fresh rock you'd eat your dinner off. Very satisfying doing it too.

Yes, I think I've dragged this OT quite a bit now.

That shaft is still speaking something to me though.
