I see further development work there is going ahead, looks like a possible shaft in the area cleared. The planning application included references to shafts around which all apparently were filled & covered by Clwyd Caps, which were to be avoided.
It is really unfortunate the area was excluded from the WHS area, presumably because it contained no significant engine houses, but the tips there (such as are left) are a significant part of the copper mining landscape, and (along with those nearby areas which are covered by the WHS) are losing there value due to the widespread development in the area.
