Long time since I've been in there but it is one of the best carved signatures I've ever seen. Very nicely done.

Its a very typical hand for the era oft seen on love tokens of the period.... fabulous to see it on a mine wall!! :thumbup:

It was good to find that. Couldn't believe it when I saw it for real, though I had seen a pic of it before. Never found any other graff quite like it yet.

There are other examples of similar quality, but they aren't common.

Just had a look back through old pics and new i had seen that before ๐Ÿ™‚ Tis a really nice bit of Graffiti and very different to the one next to it

Interestingly a friend did some research into the name Spark a while ago in the area and by local census apparently there is still a Spark family member living in Garrigill ๐Ÿ™‚
