Copied from Mining History list:

Hi all

As you may know (from page 30 of last SGMRG newsletter) there is an open day at Ram Hill Colliery site this Sunday 26 May from 10am to 4:30pm. It would be good (well remarkable!) to see you all there. If the weather is OK I will have bookstall there. There will also be a display giving the history of the site and a few mining artefacts on display. Refreshmants will be available. We also have a free leaflet about the site.

For more info see www.ramhillcolliery.org.uk or email me.

Please pass this on to anyone else who may be interested.

Cheers

Cutting coal in my spare time.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
