Whats up with you tin man :bored:

The mineral rights things I posted IS on topic.

As Lozz pointed out without mining rights there would be no mining!

Someone mentioned they had never seen mineral rights so I uploaded it.

Don't talk to me about gazumping, makes my job a pain in the ass.

People think estates agents like it as we earn more. Well on a 1.5% commission basis trust me it doesn't pay enough to cover the grief it creates.

feck it im gonna say a few things anyway lol, rite cornwall was gazumped long ago by landed gentry and rich outsiders.. all mineral rights are owned one way or other by those same folks and never come up for sale ,mines have failed cos rights wouldnt be granted (not the cornishes fault) also there are no cornish left cos they left long ago forced away starving hungry and understandably sold to anyone that had money not that most owned anything back then there sure wasnt the thatcherite ideal what came up then wasnt sold to locals it went to those that had money that wasnt anyone down here was it ? again not the fault of cornish folks) most of cornwall is owned by outsiders thats been the case for a long time , house prices are artificially hi down here because lord muck and co wont rent let alone sell.. this is born out by this figure .. 29 ,000 properties empty ,also if u take a right wing slant on things u cant decry the demise of things.. u believed in market forces not strategic minerals policies, im afraid when u take a right wing slant /line this is what u get ...total waste of things like folks skill knowledge and all it all smashed up filled in etc etc..ps isnt it a shame crofty wasnt mothballed cos prices recovered enough in 5 yrs or so after the closure but it had no chance because of the lies told ...the so called experts all tories with shares in rtz and the rest saying mining is finished tin is worthless!all bs im no expert really just reasonably informed and know the business as i was part of it till the last day , i knew why the tin price was so low because of the huge stock pile... that the situation on the ground being actually a shortage and price rises loomed , anyway conservative anything yes even tory labour just equals selfish not hang in spend a few quid now it'll come good again, its all about hard cash ..my moanage about off topic was because the threads about large scale mining returning to mid cornwall not any of that other stuff in this thread.

lol no just full of idiots as usual ....anyway im right so there 😛 as for estate agents pah we all know what happens locals on a budget make an offer against other offers but because of the commission they dont even tell the seller of lower offers they just go with the money cos its more in their own damn pockets this is whats wrong with this country so short sighted nowadays, if this attitude had prevailed when dolcoath ran out of copper i doubt we'd ever have seen the tin down there. thank fek somone didnt just look at the figures ie no easy profit and not bother like they would now . :curse:

i see they have started sampleing the sea bed today and s.a.s are still kicking off about it said something along the lines that surfing brings about £6.50 into cornwall each year and will s.a.s change there name to s.a.j ( surfers against jobs)?

Guilty as charged, 'twas me who asked the question about mineral rights, Thomh replied with an extract from the land registry, that reply was mineral rights orientated and as such was relavent to my original question.

sounds like they will have somone from s.a.s. on board during the trial, wonder if they will give a fair, unbiased report of the operation to those higher up
hope they find enough 'hotspots' of tin to make it pay, a lot of it will be spread over an awfully large area

i tried to explain in the week to a surfer type dude money from this could improve the surf if they stop whinging and got on board with the process.. ps im no lover of surfers cos they are a pain in the ass when i been out fishing ,i was fishing porthowan on the far right hand end of a beach 150 yrds out i only need ten yards clearance to my left or right, i had my entire rig snapped off by one ,i was there before them, i even waded out n said watch my gear but they dont respect others, sadly they do seem to think they own the place! ah maybe one day i will clock one round the noggin with a 6 oz lead that will learn em lol

i was wondering a couple other things about this, i bet they will be after the gold as it does occur and also why are they saying its tin thats been lost and not tin that must have been denuded from the erosion that has long gone on.. that must have carried millions of tons of tin out to sea over the millennia it must still be there somewhere all around cornwall, i will admit to a concern i dont wanna see the sea bed ruined.. im sure they can do a bit at a time and let it recover.. other than that i hope it happens .

i know that the red river (the redruth one) still carries tin when it rains have had a sample done and its still around .5% so it just shows tin is still being washed down the river
