The Alston police provide a very good daily update of the road conditions on Alston Moor in the winter snows.
It can be found on the Cybermoor website.
Useful if you are visiting Nenthead.

Not yet..I think they were expecting the snows in Jan & Feb and planned to be ready by then.
Not usually as bad as this in November!
