Recently revisiting a mine site in the South West we looked in more detail at a previously seen but unidentified bit of machinery which looked like it might be the drive section of a table. It is located near the base of the stamps location. The mill used amongst other things Buss and Record tables. At first it was thought to be a Buss table but from discussions and help from Tony Brooks & Rick Stewart we now think it may be a Record Table.

Tony is not aware of examples of either of these surviving anywhere Worldwide, but does anyone know different?

Not putting the exact location out as I would hate to see the remains disapear.

I've tried to put up photos but not got round doing that yet, I don't seem to be the only one with problems doing that, any hints for the computer illiterate?

My Aditnow.....Personal Album
'Upload a Photograph' top right.

Then its not associated with a mine if you want to keep it under wraps.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
