Please guys, I'm working on developing a local wolframite mine. And am looking for any useful information out there. Your help is greatly appreciated.

When you say developing, what do you actually mean? I visited Carrock on Saturday, and was confronted by a National Parks warden looking to see my permit, until explaining we were there purely for photography and exploration purposes and nothing to do with the minerals of the site!

A license to mine or procure Wolframite could be very costly if this is what your intending doing, but I am led to believe that all areas where Wolframite is found are covered by SSSI regulations and are protected!

If it is Carrock Fell remember that around 50% of the tungsten is as scheelite. The potential below the No 2 levels has never been tested by drilling so the opportunity must be reasonable at least. Where will you put the tailings though as this is what closed the opeartion under Minworth.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
