Well have started finally to dig out the entrance. Some pics are
in my album (not up to much but will improve as i get on)
The water at the entrance is much deeper and i hope next to
get clearer pics of the entrance and the walls into the tunnel shortly. Got a powerful torch in there last night and was delighted to see the depth and clarity of the water and the intact walls, but have to dig a load out first. Hope a friend who is a caver will go in with an underwater camera shorly.

Hi,

Well have made some progress and added some pictures in my folder. Have been able to get in aprox 350 to 400 yards maybe a little bit more. Water is up to chest and cold !!! but you can walk in ok. The colour of the rock is stunning. Got as far as we could and found what we first thought was a collapse but i think now could be a shaft from the top field that has had a load of stuff sent down it, particularly as it is a fairly uniform 45 degrees slope back towards us. I would love to get it cleared and move on.. God knows how though.

Great stuff. Keep it up.

AND DO BEAR IN MIND THAT THERE COULD BE 50m OF WATER BEHIND THE COLLAPSE!!!!!!!!!

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
