Can anyone give either a short description or some route finding clues for the route to exit Brownley Hill once you've dropped down out of Rampgill?

I know you drop down out of Rampgill at Barrons Sump - the pitch at the end of Top Sills - then into a Sub-Level and down a stempled stope into Brownley Hill

But I don't know Brownley Hill very well and wanted a few pointers as we'll be wanting to pull the rope down behind us once we're sure we're on the right track!!!

From memory all you do at the bottom of the second pitch is turn right and keep going straight all the way out more or less.

Theres a junction for the Goodhamgill Vein about halfway along on the right that you pass and go left.

Then you just keep following the water all the way out.

PM me your email address and i'll forward you the details and map from the guys who first did it in 1991

Sorry, like Mike says.
There isn't a left.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
