I was passing the above yesterday and thought I might as well take a couple of photos to update the ones taken by ICLOK ten years ago but had little success. You can take pics from the road but it was sunny and late afternoon so the results were not good.
So I thought I'll knock on the door of the house (although it looked deserted) and ask permission to pop in. Snag. There was a very well built wooden gate, heavily padlocked blocking the entrance accompanied by a notice saying the property was guarded by dogs and hidden CCTV cameras to identify intruders. Didn't see any mention of pressure alarms. I suspect the latter two were bluffs but still.
I thought I can still get round the back by going up the narrow Porkellis road next to the property and nipping across the field. Wrong. That was blocked by a padlocked metal gate. I got the message. If anyone feels the need to photograph EWL resist it.
The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there.
