attending- ditzy,david,lucy and bri
I had a friend come oop north to stay for a few days and on the day we took her back home we decided to do a trip into box mine, i had a text from another friend of mine saying he would like to go caving or try mine exploring and i said to him that we were going to be going down soon , so he decided to tag along with us, as he didnt have anything suitable for exploring so i decided to lend him my red wellies with stars on, a helmet,light and boiler suit!
Once ready we headed off towards jacks entrence, when we got there we found that for the first time in ages there was nothing wrong with the gate at the entrence, the last couple of times i have been i have found that -
1. the gate had ben vandalised
2. the bolt had been stolen!
we then went into the mine, we took stig with us so we had to lift him up a few rock falls, at the begaining i though id lead, wilst bri was doing up the gate, i typically took the wrong passage! next minute i head "were you gone" and "your goin the wrong way" i thought danm and then tolld him to lead! david kept hitting his head so im glad he was wearing a helmet, we then came to the black horse, were bri spoke some rubbish to david about it or some what, i wasnt really listening to him as i was talking to lucy as we didnt want to know much about the mine as we knew it all before.
we then headed on to try and find the robots, we wernt too sure whick way it was so we split up! i was positive it was one way and bri thought the other, lucy and david went with bri wilst i went the other way, and i got it right! The give away to me was the white big feet on the floor of the passage! so i called the others and we carried on down the passage till we got onto the b12 route, from there we went on to the robots.
from here we then decided to go and show david the mility section, as me and lucy had seen this part before and couldnt be bothered to walk all the way to the door as we would only be turning back round to come back again we found a little alcove and waited there for the others to come back to us, we would have dont the wind tunnel but as we had the dog we didnt want him to cut himself on the barb wire so we didnt.
once they had returned to us, we headed of towards the cathedral, once we got there we stood around for a few minutes, wilst david stood there looking utterly suprised at what he was seeing, the i lead everyone out towards back door, once at back door bri went through first to open the gate, followed by me then lucy followed by david and the dog!
after we headed back towards chippenham to drop of lucy then we dropped off david after and then headed off to see some relatives of mine.
