I bought a little head torch yesterday mainly for walking my dog and loading van ect on these dark nights/ mornings. Its from home bargains, and I must say guys for little tasks like this its great, 180 lumens and a really wide beam much to the point as it surrounds you in light its got a name of nitelite its not good enough for a cave/mine trip but great for the aforementioned tasks or the likes .

There's some great cheap head torchs out there for this sort of thing.Picked up a lighthouse head torch from our local builders merchants for under a tenner that is great.250 stated lumens and easily out does the wifes gucci petzl tikka.:thumbup:
