It is with great sadness I have to report the passing of Sougher.
Last night, peacefully in her sleep. A wealth of experience with Op Mole. Leaving a huge archive, and many friends behind.RIP.

Really sorry to hear that, she had a wealth of tales about Op Mole's early explorations. 😞 I hope as she'd suggested to me in the past that her archive goes to the DRO.
Follow the horses, Johnny my laddie, follow the horses canny lad-oh!

Sad News indeed. Although I had never met her, I enjoyed reading her posts on the site, they were always informative and filled with the personal warmth of experience.
RIP.

I didn't know her personally but have corresponded by email & know of her exploits via various publications - What a Lady!!
A great loss to us all.
We inhabit an island made of coal, surrounded by a sea full of fish. How can we go wrong.......
