Shropshire Caving & Mining Club have several publications from David Adams a local(Newport) historian and the expert on the mines.
Have a look on Mike Moors site as he stocks all the publications

Hi Amy,
David Adams has completed a book on the Church Aston and Lilleshall mines and canals
The Club is currently excavating around the engine house and will be next there on 18th march
