On a trip into Neptune mine last night , we discovered that there's been a small collapse at the head of the third winze in the mine. Although not much material has gone down the shaft, it's been lost from a place you really needed to tread to get across it, especially when coming back. Unlike the first two internal shafts this one doesn't have spits in for a traverse line and right now, it's about 40' to water. I'm talking to one of the other members of last night about trying to get something in to rig a line off installed and also something to span the shaft, but in the meantime, I'd strongly advise not crossing it.
