I am interested in the Coleorton as my long lost relations came from this area: John King or William Platts late 1700's early 1800's would dearly like to find out more of them and the area, if anyone could help!

There was an article on the Coleorton mines in the PDMHS bulletin some years ago, which included details of the coat and other finds. It's available online here: http://www.pdmhs.com/PDFs/ScannedBulletinArticles/Bulletin%2012-3%20-%20The%20Tudor%20Miners%20of%20Coleorton,%20Leicestershire.pdf

Cheers,
Adam
