hi all last saturday ,out walking. halfway up loss hill i turned west heading back towards road, came across mine entrance. kneeled to get in then was able to stand,? what was mined?

Is that in the frozen wastelands to the north? The National Library of Scotland website might be better than Old Maps, they have 25" & 6" to the mile maps online for much of the country.
