Hi, I'm new on here, and come across your site this morning.
i'm having a clean out of some bits & bobs, and come across this toolbox in my shed which was given to me about 20 years ago, by a chap in tean called Reginald billy bull who worked at the New Haden Colliery. And i was wondering if this is a collectors item now, as I'm planning to sale this on the internet, due to moving.

The toolbox measurements are H 12'' L 33'' W 20''

please advise

Many thanks
Billy :)[img]

A picture might help.
Your difficulty is that without any provenance all you have is a wooden box.
At the end of the day you are selling a box, not the story.

As you seem to be confident of its providence why not clean it and try offering it to New Haden Pumps as a display item ........ I am pretty sure that they occupy at least some of New Haden Colliery's old buildings?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
