hello
i have always been interested in visiting old mining areas and come from plymouth origionaly but now renovating a 1850 miners cottage which is surrounded by mining activity in the tamar valley my interest has grown alot in the past few years and i have started looking in to getting underground in this area now i have seen what is on the surface altho need some pointers on how to start out
also we have a shaft opened up 200yds from our house last month which ime realy interested in looking down altho havent the exsperience or knowlege to be able to do
i have some basic kit altho need showing the ropes

Can you use www.flashearth.com to pin point where the shaft that has opened up is?

i believe it is part of the run from furzehill to south devon consuls
and acess shouldnt be a problem a friendly with the farmer who owns the land
altho dont realy want to advertise its location to all to see [dont know if that is the proper way to see it but we have already had people messing around near it if you know what i mean] :confused:
