Hi RRX, Nice to meet you and thanks for the warm welcome.
wheal Jane is a great place I'm now searching between North Wheal Jane (Besore Mine; Wheal Evelyn) down to East Wheal Falmouth, then across to old wheal Jane, wheal Jane area after explored those areas will be making my way towards West Wheal Jane, so much to see and explore can see me exploring this area for a good few weeks to come, maybe one day be able to meet up explore some areas together as I'm sure you will know of places Ive not found and be able to show you a few areas Ive found and worth a explore further.

Well hope to talk soon

All the best

Hello.

I would hook up with the CBC, as some of them have done a huge amount there.

Quite a lot of the discussion about anything remotely in the area is kept off the public internet because the local farmers see the less responsible mine explorers as "bloody kids" and their attitude is "I'll fill it". It's why there is some rent a fence around Tremayne shaft. The local farmer said to one of my mates, if it was not fenced quickly, he was going to fill it as one of his hounds almost fell down it.

A lot of it is Lord Falmouth's land, but the local farmers (who are mostly tenant farmers) sort of "own it".

Hi Drillbilly

I will look about for them see what can be done, as be good to get together with fellow explorers in Cornwall so much to explore.

Thought that might be the way better to keep it hush hush between fellow explorers and out of sight, less people see the better, know a few places myself some very deep shafts and a lot of crazy places always worth a re visit.

Well thanks for the info and hope to talk again soon. Maybe a few of us from Cornwall hook up and make a few days of exploring be good

Cheers

Hello. I do SRT and am free most of the time. Been caving a few years and several mine trips here at home as well as Wales. How often do you go out? I'm mid Cornwall, so trips this way would be better for me.
Thanks, Tracy

It's always good to meet new people. St Austell has a few explorers who are good chaps. I sometimes go out with them, plus there are some interesting things in the area.

Sounds good whatever the plan is I'm ready to explore
its all pretty new to me but the more I look at maps and old plans of mine workings and shafts etc more I'm eager to explore in more detail been exploring a few places but plenty more to look at around my area as well as Cornwall.
So whenever your ended out to explore some places feel free to give me a shout

Next step for me is to grab the gear ill need and get some practice

so whenever anyone out and about near me give us a shout be more then happy to tag along

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
