Hi,
I shared the first 2 photos on a Weardale facebook page and was told by Ian Forbes from Killhope lead mining museum that they are 2 glass slided which belong to and are therefore copyrighted to "Friends of Killhope" ans not "free of copyright" as statted on this site.

if its the ones I am thinking of the copyright for those will ahve expired a long long time ago. ownership of a copy of it or even the original negative or glass slide is no proof of ownership of the 'the rights inherent in the works'
