Does anyone know of any bitumen or other mineral oil mines in Wales please, preferably accessible? Even if as a secondary mineral, something similar to the Tar Tunnel in Ironbridge would be good.
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

What exactly do you want?
There is "pitch" in some of the Snailbeach workings (Shropshire)

For a photographic project, looking to photograph remnants of minerals underground and this was all I could think of for oil, others in the series are generally flowstone type formations on the walls of abandoned mines, pitch leaching through a wall would be an ideal subject.
