Intended to make good use of a day off work by going for a poke round in the Dales but time's slipping away and the draw of the sofa, a tin of biscuits and an afternoon of the Tour de France is growing every stronger...
Underground somewhere yet to be decided at the weekend, hopefully Swaledale.

I'm going up into the Welsh hills again, quite literally.

This mine exploring lark has turned you into an old man already!

Room for a couple of small ones out round this way if you're stuck.

One is in the office :curse:

What time are you going out tomorrow? Presumably it'll be a 10ish start somewhere... I shall probably stay in bed

Out today, not tomorrow I'm afraid. You can pick some dates for those beginner trip(s) we've been taking about for 6 months

Me, Christ Wigg and Blackshiver had a quick trip to Easegill Limestone Mine in the end. Dropped in by the Lancaster Engine Shaft and exited by by the Rabbit Level. Quite a fun little trip with a fair bit of water. Little or nothing in the way of artifacts but some pretty calcified props here and there...

Did you see the calcified horse?
