I've just added a new forum area called Member Projects, you'll find it under 'Journals & Site Forums' in the navigation menu.

Please feel free to use this new forum area to keep other AditNow members up to date on any projects you've got on the go. It could be a dig, or a DIY lamp build or a preservation issue, or a big explore you're working up to.

It's a perfectly normal forum section, so you can include any photographs uploaded to the site or your personal album and other members can of course reply and tell you how well you're doing 😉 And you can have as many Project threads as you have projects...

The existing Member Journals section remains, although that's function slightly differently... you can only have one journal and nobody else can reply in it. If you've not used it, give it a try :flowers:

Hope so.

One to two people have commented to me that this site is very good on historical discussion and reference, but there could be a little more current day exploration material (although projects of course aren't limited to exploration). After all what is current becomes historical at some point...

Hopefully it'll build up to a good future resource to look back on (yes I intend to run the site for that long) as well as reinforce the community feel. I think the vast majority of us are on the same side.
