The time has come to replace our FX3 lamps that we use for group trips and I was originally looking at replacing them with the new DX3's but have also started to consider the Speleotechnics Nova too. Has anybody any experience of using Nova's or can you suggest any other types of lamp. Bearing in mind of course that these lamps get dropped, carried by the cables, occasionally dismantled ("it just fell apart in my hand"), and so on.
Do not mess with the forces of Nature, for thou art small and biodegradable!

Novas 100%.

Very very good lamps. If I ran anything but a full bore mutant oldham, it would be a Nova. I've seen hire places using them. They make total sense.

Can send you a loan DULA all-in-one if you're interested. Rather a different kettle of fish to the Nova; but designed with industry in mind, but they charge on Oldham racks if that's of any interest.
