Thanks all.... one of those moments when you know everythings there, 8 attempts on my finepix S9600 in Shutter mode and yes shot in BW.
I think my guide was getting miffed with "Oh not quite what I wanted, I'll just do that again" ....
I was trying to re-create the gloomy workaday but terrifically atmospheric shots like from the end of steam on BR in 1968 at places like Carnforth and Lostock Hall (It is the 40th anniversery in August of the end of BR steam). :thumbup:
