I don't think this route gets much traffic, but in case anyone had hoped to go down the big stope from Rosa adit to Mitchell's, the little letterbox squeeze is totally blocked by a fall.

The timbers comprising one of the stulls with packwalled sides have given way, meaning this route can no longer be passed.

The west pitch might be passable, haven't tried, but there's some dodgy falling rocks and rotten timbers, so probably best to give it a miss.

Yes, I was made aware a few weeks ago and should have reported it on here, sorry.

Its very recent, since NAMHO in early July.

To be fair, it's all in a huge stope, so there will be other ways down.

Yes there are at least two alternative ways, one which I described and another which lands on the wrong side of a missing section of floor! But yes, you can still get down.
