Was looking at the shaft in Wilkinson's adit recently. We could see two bolts with hangers which look good. Just wondered if there is a third we missed......?

The steel drum you really struggled to get through is to be replaced by a plastic tube, and I consider it dodgey.

I normally belay to the rail and back up with the bolts.
Its 60 feet to a landing of sorts and a way off over blind stope to collapse at Western Engine Shaft.
Another 60 feet of vertical to another landing. I used a single 40 metre rope.

A 30 foot vertical to the bottom of the stope at second landing. Rise at the stope end leads to short railed passage to more collapse at WES.

Part of the stope bottom was running downwards, scaffs lying around were to be used in a dig there.
If you go down please advise current situation at the running ground.

I will probably need some help. Some SCMC members usually help me. I have keys to the barrier by way, so can drive up with the new tube etc.
