The Welsh Mines Society is pleased to announce a conference and guided walk, to be held on the weekend of
9th and 10th October 2010, entitled:
Towards a Better Understanding
New Research on Old Mines
In accordance with the conference title (which incorporates a quotation from the preface to Part 1 of David Bick’s The Old Metal Mines of Mid-Wales), speakers will present papers covering recent research on the historic mines of Wales.
