Does the orientation of the building fit anything on the map?

If it's the Belmont iron stone mine ?
most of the main buildings are still intact, you can fly over and follow mineral railway track, but haven't spotted OP's building.
On os map their looks to be something going off to bottom of map ?

The foundation of the building doesn't look very "heavy duty" to me, nor do two small-ish bolts on a virtually unmarked plinth.

So that suggests either a compressor, or a small fan, or a generator set. The "window" appears to have had a some sort of (louvred?) cover which might suggest an air intake or exhaust. There's also a niche or entry through the brickwork to the right of the plinth in the internal view.

The small wind next to the plinth could possibly be the radiator air discharge position for a water cooled engine?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
