The ham's been cooked, t'owd man's candle lit, and now the beer's open (to be followed by the Laphroaig Quarter Cask in a bit...) so I reckon it's time to relax - a Merry Christmas to you all!

I like Laphroaig, have had many of their various bottlings.

I have a bottle that's older than me, only had a few drams from it.

I am on my own all day but will no doubt find something to do.

Hope to get out tomorrow.

I was in Devonshire Cavern at Matlock yesterday and then went on to Stoney M, never saw a soul in underground gear.

Anyway, happy Christmas to all, hope weather stays calm as I expect a few others will want to get out and about.

Happy Christmas too, hope everyone had a great day :)

I stayed off the drink until mid-afternoon today and managed to get things in the correct order this year. My wife wasn't too happy last year when I stuffed the mother in law and gave the turkey a mince pie and a sherry for some reason!
