Evening everyone,

I've been part of the world famous "Thursday Nighter's" for just over a year now, but am moving back to Ireland for a while in a few weeks.

If anyone knows any informal/formal caving or mining groups around the area, let me know 🙂

I am quite surprised that you were not aware of the Mining Heritage Trust of Ireland.
They usually send delegates to the NAMHO conferences, and recently have published a very nice review of their last 20 years of activities.
They publish a very impressive journal and hold meetings across Ireland.
Mathew Parkes is one of their stalwarts, but given the above a feel sure that you will be made to feel, at home.
