Due to difficulties in getting the index on the Mining History Network updated, at Roger Burt's suggestion have been looking for a new host.

There is now a link on the Trevithick Society www.trevithick-society.org.uk/

Click on the link at the foot of the home page.

The original site remains but is very out of date.

This covers mines, quarries etc worldwide, primarily from Cornwall & Devon newspapers, but also some Shropshire and Welsh newspapers.

I would always be glad of any additional references.

Ali's newspaper index is a really useful resource - highly recommended.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
