I've emailed everybody who has their BCA insurance through ANMHS, but in case anybody doesn't get the email will copy and paste here.

If you're not an ANMHS member, have no interest in becoming an ANMHS member, get your insurance through another club or feel that insurance is the spawn of the devil you may stop reading now ;)

It’s that time of year again – BCA insurance renewal time…

I’m emailing everybody just to remind, whether to renew or not is of course entirely up to you.

If you don’t need the insurance any more or are taking it out through another club I’d be really grateful if you could drop me a quick email to let me know so I know not to pester you again!

For those that want to renew via ANMHS the link is here:

http://www.aditnow.co.uk/mine-exploration-club/join.aspx

Membership is the same price as last year at £22 for the year including the underground insurance.

Hi Simon,

I get my BCA Ins through Parys Underground Group. What's membership of AN without BCA?

Cheers

Hi Clive

There isn't really an option to join without the insurance. ANMHS mostly just gives people a route to BCA insurance that's cheaper than becoming a Direct Individual Member if they're not in another club.

So a non-insured member would be paying a fiver to get nothing in return :(

ANMHS was originally intended to be a bit more - newsletters etc., but there just isn't time in the day!

The £5 on top of the £17 the BCA charges for insurance per member goes to cover the annual BCA club registration fee, the cost of posting the cards. There's a bit left over, but I'm not holidaying in the Sechelles on it

Hi Simon

But how is this amazing website financed? I'll have a chat at the Christmas bash in Betws...

Cheers
