A hearty thank you to everybody who supported the calendar project through providing photographs or buying a copy :flowers:

I've totted up the final figures and we have:

Total profit: £562.19

102 sales, split as follows:

47 with profit to DCRO = £259.05
55 with profit to WMPT = £303.14

I'll hold fire sending the cheques out until I've decided if a re-print will go ahead, and then when ready send them out.

Again, thank you to all who supported the calendar again this year. It's a nice project because the end result is something useful (I hope!) to hang on the wall, but my main focus is on making sure it returns a profit to support (admittedly in a small way) the groups you all voted to support.

This. As I don't much time to go and explore, this place is something that keeps me sane.

Thanks Simon not only for the calender but also for the web site which gives those of us who are now a bit to long in the tooth to go down holes in the ground so much pleasure.

As others have said thanks Simon for doing such a good job on both the calendar and the forum.
Also well done everyone for helping raise so much for such worthy causes. 😉

Firstly a big thank you to Simon for all his work producing and distributing the calendar. Secondly thank you to all those who purchased them. The sum raised for both organisations is a tribute to you all.

I would like the money donated to the Welsh Mines Preservation Trust to be put towards a meaningful project in Mid Wales and hopefully one that the Adit Now community can be involved in. If anyone would like to make suggestions of a project, I would be pleased to hear from the,.

Once again many thanks.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year in 2012.

Following the re-print the final, final profit figures from the 2012 calendars were:

Total profit: £624.54

115 sales, split as follows:

54 with profit to DCRO = £293.26
61 with profit to WMPT = £331.28

Cheques are being posted off tomorrow morning  breath sigh of relief as the calendar project is finished for yet another year!

Thanks to Simon and Vanoord for organising this again this year, and to all the excellent photographs therein.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
