For those of us who want to give mine related Christmas cards, I thought it might be an idea to list places where you can get them:
The Cornwall wildlife trust are selling packs of South Wheal Frances in the snow for £3.99 (Charity), but does anyone know of any other places / organisations selling mining Christmas cards ?

Of course an adit now Christmas card set might b on "the cards" ::) if enough of us ask for it and express an interest ??

Is it safe to come out of the bunker yet?

Yes, there are ideas, and good ideas.
Do it Simon and I want to be your first customer.

Any more interest?
Simon will need a comittment from quite a few people before any go ahead.

I appreciate that I could do the same off my own computer system, but then again, it is not the same.

I am thinking that somehow the calendar and the cards could go hand in hand, I am sure the calendar printer would want to talk about it.

I would imagine that all anyone could do for this year would be an electronic one, if any, but I would put my name down for some next year, if they are printed as per calendar and in packs!

Any chance of a musical card that plays Jingle Bals?

I am not a Christmas person, but bringing mining into it is rather like bringing climate change into an application for a government loan

Perhaps xmas cards mirroring the calendar pages / images. Would not require messing about for more images.

Although i think were cutting it a bit fine now for printing

Final posting day for guaranteed delivery is a week today! That would be a week to get the artwork done, get it printed, get them back from the printers, get them to everybody who had ordered them, and for them to get them sent out 😮
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by

Getting back to main thread- What existing mining image Christmas cards are for sale now and from where?

I might stick an electronic effort on the image library if I have time, but anyone else feel free to try

If this were organised for next year, and I think they would need to be i peoples' hands earlier than the calenders, then I would have some.

A slight change of tack, but keeping on the subject of specislised AN goods, How about a distinctive AN lapel badge?
With the right design I'm sure these would fly off the shelf and be cheap enough for everyone to afford. Maybe you could even throw in a small sticky one for the helmet but please, not reflective as it buggers up photos 🙂

Thoughts anyone?

OK .....no stickers....But I still like the idea of a sexy lapel badge.
With a splash of adit water behind each ear and an AditNow lapel badge you could be the talk of the town. Would also help break the ice at parties etc with tales of daring do.
