I have only just caught up with this thread.
Whilst I would agree that profits should go to Air Ambulance/ Rescue Organisations. If consideration was given to making a donation in addition to the above to the preservation side of the mining community, the Trust could make good use of a small donation.
As Roy says we do not employ Consultants (or any one ); all our work is carried out by members (and friends) at their own expense. We have been fortunate in the recent past to have received grants from CADW - Penyclun Engine House Restoration, Ceredigion County Council's Spirit of the Miners Project, Environment Agency Wales - Pont Ceunant Generating Station (Frongoch), CCC's PLWM Project - Ystrad Einion.
At present we are hoping to be able to have some involvement with the RCAHM (W) in the new Metal Links Project.
As some of you will know our current projects are at Dylife with Michael Brown and at Cwmbyr.
