Interesting report on North East Tonight yesterday debating the future of coal now that there has been so much bother with oil country's like Iraq, Iran, and now Libya. And the added 'interest' of the dangers of nuclear power brought on by what's going on in Japan at the moment.

There's a good quote as well that says the north east has been mining coal for longer than anywhere else on the planet yet there is still 75% of it remaining.
