Check this out. It claims to be 17Watts and runs on 3xAAA
I get that to 3.7 amps.
Considering that this is aimed at the cyclist market, a current drain like that wouldn't get me to the end of the street.
Might run off an Oldham though 🙂

I would guess the specs have got lost in Chinese translation, and you have ended up with a random 17W thrown in somehow. AAA's can no way deliver the drive current needed, and would hope the designers where aware of this 😮
