Now then, did anybody get up to any interesting exploration over the bank holiday weekend?

In a word, yes

Though I fear my exam this morning may have gone a little better had I not 😮

You know, Mr.RL, that I had a rather interesting afternoon in Rhosydd, seeing a bit of the mine that I'd not been to before 😉

I wasn't asking you. I know where you went, you spent the day insulting me if I recall 🙂

Had an encounter with an interesting srt problem, an in situ rope so well calcited it wouldn't go through my rack even down to three bars.
So rigid it looked like it was ready to crack.
😮

Indeed a very interesting part of the mine. It came to my mind when I went there that I was not far away from the surface of the 'east twll'. And perhaps it might be a possibility that there are only perhaps a couple of feet of rubish stopping access from the twll. The chambers were open to the daylight at one time before the 'fall fawr'.
What is left is quite well preserved though.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
