I have a large collection of Mining, Explosives Company letterheads and invoices mainly Cornish. Also a collection of Share certificates, would there be of any interest if I scanned and uploaded these to the aditnow website and would I have any copyright control if I did so?

Don't know re the copyright issue but would love to see the shares certs.... always wanted to collect but given my railwayana, industrial stuff my missus might have words :lol:

It would be an ongoing thing as I am bit limited to time 2 small kids!!. would it be best to add each one to the relevant mines documents section?, I only joined about 2 weeks ago. so I am not used to this!

yeah that would be fine or even as a photo/scan in the album of a mine it relates to in the db.... document I think would be more likely to get seen. No rush, all contribution gratefully received here as and when it suits you. cheers

Wife and kids are away for 3 days tomorrow, what do you prefer ? share certificates or letterheads to start with?

Mind you given Gormless Browns next possible debarcle, it looks like my TSB shares will be worthles and yours a damn site more valuable! 😮

Sad but very true!!!, Old Share certificates go up in value as modern ones drop usually!! . At the moment who knows??.
how do I get to send a private message to members I am at present not allowed??because I am a new member, I was crawling around tin mines with Roy Morton 20 years ago!!

Many thanks for that, I did contact Roy quickly last week for the first time in years!!, great to see a website like this! It deserves to get a lot of support. I will start to upload some stuff tomorrow

I picked up a load of those merchants billheads Mike; one is for the bob pin and hanging gear on Robinsons pump engine.

Just made myself laugh ...I hit the F instead of the G key when typing the word 'gear'. Hanging fear......Hmmm not too bad a description for it at the moment given the Hartlands Project thingummy. ::)

Came across this the other day Mike. Gone are the days when Cornish Powder was king. This label came from one of the last batches made in the UK (Scotland) and now ops have been moved to Hungary.

i bought a very nice Curtis Harvey gunpowder flask on Ebay a couple of years ago from...............Australia and for a very good price!!!!!

What format are you using when uploading?

Document upload fixed again. My fault, I broke it during the last round of site updates. Thanks to Mikebee62 for providing documents to test with.

I've also added 'Share Certificate' as a document category. Are there any other categories of document that would be sensible to add to the classifications?

What about mining company Letterheads I have a lot of these as well ?. It would be great to get as many company Shares and letterheads on here as possible I am sure members must have the odd one or two or perhaps a lot more!, paper work tend not to survive as well as other mining artifacts .
