Now that we're firmly in January, a quick to question to folks who bought the calendar and have been looking at it avidly for the last four weeks (!) - does anyone have any more feedback on the change of design/format or any other suggestions for changes for future years?

Just for the record, the amounts raised were:
£205.51 for North Wales Cave Rescue
£283.80 for Friends of Cwmorthin

Once again, many thanks to all who bought the calendar; and many thanks to those who contributed pictures, words and endured my hassling for both! :flowers:

Vanoord,

For what its worth I think it is an excellent calendar and sits in pride of place in my office. I like the idea profits going to the good causes.

I think the old adage if it aint broke don't mend it should apply

Brilliant job. Just to add, given the superb standard of the photography on the site a number could have been produced of equal quality. Well done to all concerned.

The calender has taken it's place quite well in our kitchen. Brilliant pictures and plenty of room to write appointments and holidays etc. in the squares.
I have had to take it down several times as friends and relatives have wanted to see and browse thrugh all the photos.

I think it is excellent, and I like this year's format. Possibly the smaller photos should be credited too if different from main photo.

An excellent calendar - I was greedy and had three! I tell everyone who admires it that it is a Collector's item which it is with only a limited number printed. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to it and compiled it, a job well done. Nice to know that money was raised for two good causes. I cannot fault it whatsoever, however, just a tiny, tiny request please for a small addition to next year's! Would it be possible please to print on the blank page at the back of the calendar a small flat layout of the previous year and the following years calendars, such as is often found on normal calendars? i.e. on this year's it would have included 2008 and 2010 This is only a suggestion so please do not take it as criticism

Just a quick bump as we're now halfway through the calendar - and if I may say so, one of my favourite pics of the year

Does anyone have any thoughts for the 2010 calendar?

The one thing I'd be keen to see again is an archive picture or two, along the same lines as the Hunter Tunneler which features in this year's calendar. The question is what?!

I'm fascinated by the photo of Moses Kellow's rock drill, but we need something in landscape format in order to fir the frame. Does anyone have; or know of, anything that might be suitable?

I'd like to see a few more surface shots.
I thought the Dinorwic page was the best on this year's calendar and there's no shortage of quality above ground shots across the site.
