As some of you may know, I edit the mining page for Descent Magazine.

As such I'm always on the lookout for the stories, etc.

If any of you would like anything put in the magazine I can't promise you exposure but I'd certainly be interested in talking to you.

You may wish to highlight a particular mine/site, a 'human interest story/recent exploration/tales of derring-do/club news/new books/ etc.,etc.

My brief is quite wide and I can cover all sorts of mine-related items. Mines are always seen as the poor relation by mainstream cavers (despite the obvious cross-over) and I'm keen to redress this.

Please get in touch if there's anything I can help with.

Chris

One that springs to mind is your occasional feature of "mining museams" - how about Apedale?

I have written up access projects such as Talybont on the web sites as well as in the WMS newsletter and can confirm that I have no objection to any of that being reproduced in whole or in part, if you consider it of interest.

Chris,

it is a shame you no longer take an interest in NAMHO events last years 2008 NAMHO could have filled seveeral pages
