Can anyone help with a list of surviving head frames in NE and NW England?

My starting list is
Woodhorn
Washington Glebe
Groverake
Florence
Haig

and for bonus points can we agree on any surviving head frames on fluorspar mines in the UK?

Groverake

This info would inform a preservation effort on a well known mine.....

Surviving headframes has been discussed before, someone was trying to make a complete list of ones in the UK

http://www.aditnow.co.uk/community/viewtopic.aspx?t=7877&txtSearch=overton&lblnWhere=all&lblnMatch=any

Although since this topic, the list may have changed.

Also does the one at High Loft (Black Ox) mine class as a headframe? It's also on a fluorspar mine. Be worth checking if Longrake is calcite or fluorpsar (or both). And the Glory Mine heaframe is at Crich Tramway Museum

Isn't the Washington headframe on F pit and not Glebe?
I went in a mine once.... it was dark and scary..... full of weirdos

When do I get my soapbox, I need to rant on about some b***cks

High Loft is a tripod rather than a headframe proper so not sure whether that qualifies, and Long Rake was calcite - I don't think there were workable quantities of fluorspar on the rake until you got to Raper Mine.

Boulby Potash Two (both in use).

And a third inside a large building over the Tailings Shaft.

North Dalton Pumping Station - steel headgear outside.

Dalton Pumping Station (south of the above) - steel headgear inside brick building.

Yes, I'll have it - what is it?

Obviously the Caphouse museum, near Wakefield, with it's near neighbour approx. 400 yds Hope shaft, and in the field at the back of the museum is the wooden headframe of the old gin pit.
Hope these are useful.
