We've got 17 sets of photos now thanks to Vanoord harranguing people đŸ™‚ These need to be whittled down to the final 12 plus a cover image.

I'll aim to have the calendar completed and a proof produced by mid October with the final versions ready for the 1st November.

They'll be available for purchase online via PayPal (as last year) from the store section of the site, will provide full details when they're back from the printers.

Some layout revisions to ponder...

Vanoord it appears has a bee in his bonnet about the fact that each day is the month is given a separate little box, "damn it man I want my calendar to look like a calendar and not a load of boxes" I think was the exact line...

Orignal design - each day in a box:

đŸ”—Personal-Album-1-Image-093[linkphoto]Personal-Album-1-Image-093[/linkphoto][/link]

Revised 1 - each day in a box but without gaps, looking more like a calendar:

đŸ”—Personal-Album-1-Image-094[linkphoto]Personal-Album-1-Image-094[/linkphoto][/link]

Revised 2 - dividing lines only:

đŸ”—Personal-Album-1-Image-095[linkphoto]Personal-Album-1-Image-095[/linkphoto][/link]

Revised 3 - pseudo 3d effect:

đŸ”—Personal-Album-1-Image-096[linkphoto]Personal-Album-1-Image-096[/linkphoto][/link]

Really like the light shading of the Saturday (Playday!) and Sunday boxes in Revision 1. Would help me keep straight which days are the weekend when glancing at the calendar, since my other calendars are all set up so that the week begins on Sunday.

Other than that, both the existing layout and revision 1 look great to me - but keep Playday!

Revision 1 please!

On a more general update, I've now got a large pile of photos and am working through to add a few details, so shall hopefully pass everything over to SimonRL to put everything together in the next 48 hours or so.

Many thanks to all those who have submitted photos and also to those I've hassled more than perhaps they deserved!

Revision 1 please. 2 and 3 look like there is "something missing"! I like the idea of the shading too, as has been said, makes the weekends stand out better as most calenders do start on a Sunday. I think it is the other calenders that are wrong, the week should start on a Monday, why else are Saturday and Sunday called weekends!

Yes to revision one, its all looking very good again.

I really like last years, it's a constant reminder how much is out there to see and that I should be getting on with it!

Same here, Revision 1 looks best I reckon. Agree about the weekends thing too!
