Have a look at 'hitch n hike' website and follow the links to cave access, shed loads of information on Derbyshire mines and caves, access, grid refs, rigging info

It descrribes locations in terms of "3 miles ENE of Porthleven" rather than giving grid references but H. G. Dines "The Metalliferous Mineing region of South-west England" Volumes one and two is excellent for finding mines in Devon and Cornwall.

Its part of the Brithish Geological Survey's economic memoirs series published by HMSO ~(ISBN 0 85272 104 8 )
There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those that understand binary and those that do not!

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
